I forgot I was wanting to upload some of these as well when I did my mass upload the other day!

These are small studies that I do in a little 4”x6” leather-bound notebook I have with me at all times. Its a good way to kill time on a bus or waiting somewhere. :D

Final project for Drawing II. The art history version of that female superheroes thing.

This wins all the things. Love it!

Wooo! Summer break! :D

haha yeah! For a whole…. week. LOL. I’m taking a summer class that starts May 7th. Not excited. But its Human Anatomy and Physiology, so I’m kinda pumped about that… :D

And Now That I’ve Dumped My Art All Up On Tumblr…

I love it! What a neat idea!

Thanks! :D

My little thought experiment series. I like them. idk.

They’re all 8”x10” mixed media assemblages on stretched fabric.

And now to take a departure in the direction of the shit I’ve been doing for another studio class, I present:
Jaw Dropping
11”x36”
Linoleum block prints on tracing paper - assembled onto a strip of rice paper. (aka: snooty artist way of saying collage)

This is an interesting diptych which I’m considering expanding to include the circulatory system and possibly another of internal organs. The pieces are large and printed on rag paper however, which is costly, so for the moment its just the two.

At the moment I’m calling them the “See Through You” series, but I may deal with actually naming them properly sometime in the near future. Also I’m planning on further rendering the muscle one, I’ll replace the image once I’ve done so.

Original photographs are taken by me and reproduced with the permission of my lovely model. Erasure of the photo and subsequent drawings are also my work. :)

Mechanical pencil on photographic rag paper.

Installation view of the tiny drawings in situ. I’m planning on showing them sometime in the fall and I’ll be figuring out a way to hang them that is a little more sophisticated than masking tape. Likely magnetic paint and nails, since they’re almost too small for rare earth magnets.
